GenerateSubject generates a short subject/title for a conversation.

/api/v1/automation/subject/generate

Similar to how Claude chat auto-generates conversation titles, this generates a concise (3-8 word) subject line that captures the main topic or issue of a conversation.

Parameters​

  • transcript_id: Optional, transcript to generate subject for
  • engagement_id: Optional, engagement to generate subject for
  • text: Optional, custom text to generate subject for

Response​

Returns the generated subject line.

Errors​

  • INVALID_ARGUMENT: No source provided
  • NOT_FOUND: Transcript or engagement not found
  • PERMISSION_DENIED: Caller lacks automation:process permission
